Supporting Women When It Matters Most

At Spero Pregnancy Center, we meet women and men at one of life’s most vulnerable crossroads—an unexpected pregnancy. Your partnership makes it possible for us to offer compassionate, Christ-centered care that is completely free and confidential.

What Your Support Provides

Every client who walks through Spero’s doors is met with compassion, respect, and absolute confidentiality. Thanks to donor support, each woman or man receives a private counseling session in a calm, safe setting with a trained Client Advocate.During these sessions, our advocates:Listen without judgment, offering a compassionate space to share fears, hopes, and questions.Provide accurate, evidence-based information about pregnancy, parenting, adoption, and abortion.Help each client process emotions, clarify values, and explore next steps. Connect clients with practical resources, medical referrals, and ongoing support tailored to their situation. Confidential counseling is not clinical therapy—it’s heart-to-heart care grounded in trust. Each session lasts about an hour and focuses entirely on the client’s needs and well-being. All communication, identity, and medical records are protected under strict privacy standards and state law.

Because of donors like you, these counseling sessions become turning points—moments where fear gives way to peace, and where a woman discovers she is not alone and has real options for her future.

Baby Items

At Spero, we provide compassionate care AND practical support; which means we care about your spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. We also know that being pregnant and starting a family can be expensive. So, thanks to our generous donors, we can provide baby/children’s items at no cost.

Baby Boutique
Our Baby Boutique is filled with lovely new and gently used items for mother and baby. From maternity clothes to diapers, wipes, formula, handmade blankets, baby furniture and boys and girls clothes up to 2T. We swap out the clothes seasonally and have special deals to make sure no one goes without. The number of outfits or items earned is based on our Earn While You Learn program. These educational classes are available to all our clients and they earn Spero Bucks for participation.

Prenatal Vitamins High quality prenatal vitamins are given to all our clients with a positive pregnancy test. This helps to ensure that mom is healthy and baby is getting the nutrition he/she needs.

Gifts Bags
Moms, dads and babies are given gift bags when baby is born to welcome him/her to the world and offers moms and dads some fun and necessary items.

Empowering Families Through Knowledge and Support

At Spero, we believe that knowledge empowers parents to flourish. Through our Earn While You Learn program, mothers and fathers gain essential skills for pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting—all while earning “Spero Bucks” to purchase necessities like baby clothes, furniture, and diapers in our Boutique. Each class is built around a professional, evidence-based curriculum that fosters confidence, health, and hope for growing families.

Our lessons go beyond practical care. Parents also explore emotional wellness and family dynamics through our Healthy Relationships program—learning how to manage stress, communicate effectively, and build lasting, faith-filled relationships as they adjust to life with a new baby. Weekly Bible studies invite participants to deepen their relationship with Christ, anchoring their journey of parenthood in spiritual truth and grace.

Thanks to our donors, these life-changing programs are offered both in-person and virtually, ensuring that every family can access the support, education, and spiritual care they need—right when they need it most. Your generosity transforms learning into lasting change, giving families the confidence to thrive.

Many women who have had abortions report feelings of sadness, depression and regret. Without compounding the emotional and spiritual pain that one may be experiencing, Spero seeks to come alongside these women and men offering comfort, hope and healing. This is not only possible, but very real and available to anyone seeking to walk through the process.

Her Choice to Heal
This curriculum helps participants (group or one-on-one) walk through their past experiences, without shame, to embrace reality, experience forgiveness, and forgive themselves. It requires courage, honesty and trust.

Check here to see when our next class is.

Multiple resources are available upon request to fit your specific needs and desires.

Leadership
Leaders of this program are carefully selected and fully trained. Most have previously experienced what you are feeling and have come out on the other side. They are mature, empathetic and sensitive to your needs. They provide a safe place for you to explore your feelings, ask questions and find answers.

Please check back periodically to find out when our next post-abortion support group will be scheduled. If have questions or would like to set up a one-on-one visit please call  during business hours.

The Need
Children need fathers. Fathers need role models. Many men grow up without a father in the home and then feel lost and ill-equipped to parent effectively when they become dads themselves. They need confidence and skills to break the cycle of fatherlessness and become the dad their child needs.

The Solution
Better Dads is Spero’s in-house dad group where any dad can come in, learn together, and help each other as they navigate the constantly changing and developing world of fatherhood. During their time, they don’t just learn new things, but develop new relationships and support networks with other dads so they know they are not alone.

Better dads meets once a month, offering either a mid-day or early evenings time.

Many clients come to Spero with needs that extend beyond pregnancy support—medical care, housing assistance, legal guidance, or childcare. Through donor-funded partnerships, we maintain an extensive list of trusted social service agencies and community organizations. When a client requires help outside our direct services, we personally connect them to the right resources, ensuring no one leaves without a path forward. Your support strengthens these referral connections and helps women and families access the holistic care they need to build stable, healthy lives.

Commitment of Care

The standards detailed below were developed through the collaborative efforts of Care Net, Heartbeat International and the National Institute for Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA). These national organizations each provide valuable leadership for Pregnancy Centers. As a pregnancy help medical center affiliated with all three organizations, and as representatives of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of care in serving those to whom we are called to minister.
