Walk for Life

Walking Any Time, Any Where to Help Women & Men at Spero
Walkers can raise funds ONLINE with their own page which they can promote through email or on social media like Facebook. Or download your own registration form.
The Walk for Life is one of two major fundraisers for the ministry that we love because it raises new volunteers and increases community awareness.
It is always the 2nd Saturday of September
As a sponsored walker you can ask friends, coworkers, family, and neighbors for a pledge, it opens opportunities to share about Spero services and God. Walkers do not collect any money and don’t even have to be at the walk that day! Walkers can walk anytime, anywhere, and send in their pledge sheet. Walkers can even do it all on-line.
Churches participate by showing a short video about Spero during the Sunday service and distributing Walk fliers in their bulletins. If you didn’t see us at your church, please introduce us personally to your pastor as we would love to partner with your congregation.
It’s easy! This family friendly walk takes place along the scenic Fort Gratiot Trail (behind Meijer). Everyone can enjoy either walking or running the 2 miles. Walk for Life is a great way to spend time with family and friends, get some exercise, and raise funds to help women choose life for their babies, all in one! All registered walkers receive a FREE commemorative t-shirt! Walkers should register no later than Sept. 1, so they have time to ask for pledges.
REGISTRATION FORMS are available at your local church, or at the pregnancy center, 1211 Griswold Street in Port Huron.

All the funds donated go towards helping our clients and their babies. This year, over 80 sponsored walkers raised over $19,000 (9% of our yearly budget) in one day! Thank you!
Volunteer Training – “Life Ambassadors Training“
Thursdays October 8, 15 & 22, 2026
Classes are held on Thursday evenings from 5:30 – 8:30pm
This is training for those who desire to be better equip in their pro-life stand, a volunteer opportunity is extended at the end of the training.
